Speed touring Capital Reef, Bryce & Zion National Parks

Utah has some great National Parks. I think Arches and Canyonlands are probably the crown jewels but Capital Reef, Bryce and Zion all have much to offer as well. Capital Reef is suppose to be the least visited of the Utah National Parks but we found crowds there, just as we have at every other national park we visited this summer. The Visitor’s center was so crowded you could hardly move so we headed out just as another tour bus pulled up. The Reef was created by what’s called a Waterpocket Fold, which caused a 100-mile large rock upheaval many moons ago. Like most of Southern Utah it has lots of cool rock formations, but it also has the Fremont River that allowed both Indians and early Mormons to settle and farm in the area. We picked apples in one of the half dozen or more orchards in the park. FAQ #3: Where is the most favorite place you have been?

Canadian Rockies People always ask me about money & mail and then this question (or a variation of it), always follows - "Where is the most favorite place you have been?". I think this one is the toughest questions to answer as my most favorite place is usually wherever I am at the moment. Every place seems to have something special about it, whether you are in Barrow, AK , the tip of Texas , Keywest, FL or anyplace in between. The bottomline is that North America is an amazingly diverse and beautiful place to explore and I have been so blessed to have spent a decade on wheels exploring it. I recently started a new company called His Wonders to highlight through pictures and gifts some of the incredible scenery that can be found throughout the US and Canada but much of the time even the best pictures don't do justice to a location. A Tenting We Shall NOT Go.. I need a Van

It’s been about a year since I had a horrid Western NY night in a tent and swore that I would never tent east of the Mississippi again. I am on the west coast of British Columbia Canada and though I did not plan on camping, like a good girl scout I was prepared to if I needed too. Getting a late start and ending up three hours from ‘home’ with night falling … I needed to. Luckily, I scored a nice tent site in a better than average RV park near the coast of the Salish sea. The camp staff had gone home so I just choose a place for the night that was empty. Thankfully they had nice level tent boxes, and some friendly nearby campers gave me the washroom code (they call them washrooms instead of restrooms in Canada... so we will go with that!). I quickly set up my Wally world tent as the last bit of light slipped away.
